About the Author:

DeAnna Jo Brown, a Tennessee Native, was born in the small town of Dickson in December of 1985. Her family owned a local bag company, and in order to grow that business into a larger, more developed city, her family moved to Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 3. DeAnna was raised in a modest home with two older brothers. Growing up, she was raised in a very musical family. Her father and oldest brother played many instruments, and her youngest brother and mother both loved to sing. DeAnna began an interest not only in music, but also in theater. Starting at the young age of 5, DeAnna appeared in several theater productions, and continued her love for music and theater throughout high school. After High School, DeAnna immediately immersed herself in the local Memphis music community through blogging, writing, scouting, reviews, and event coordination. After 7 years of building relationships and contacts within the music community, she landed a job at Hard Rock Cafe as a Sales and Marketing Manager. Through this role, she was able to lead several philanthropic events, bring many new talents to the Hard Rock stage, and create annual events that are still being executed today. DeAnna is currently following new passions of event planning at a hotel in downtown Memphis as a Catering Manager. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Organizational Leadership at at Middle Tennessee State University, and plans to continue her career in event planning and management.
